Destruction of illegal ganja and brown sugar by District Drugs Disposal Committee

Berhampur, 15/10 : The Berhampur District Drugs Disposal Committee under the Chairmanship of SP, Berhampur along with other members including SP Excise Ramendra Narayan Nayak & Tahasildar, Seragada destroyed 6,340.7 Kg of Ganja & 268 gm Brown Sugar of Excise Enforcement & Intelligence Bureau, Berhampur unit and Gosaninuagaon and Digapahandi PS of Berhampur district on 14.10.2023 at Common Biomedical Waste Treatment and Disposal facility Sheragada. These Ganja were seized in 126 cases of EI & EB, 42 cases of Berhampur Excise department & 4 cases of Gosaninuagaon PS & Digapahandi PS. Previously, 4972.5 kg Ganja & 9.48gm Brown sugar has been destroyed in 5 times. All together so far 11,313.2 kg Ganja & 277.48 gm Brown sugar has been destroyed at the same facility.
