Corporator sought votes by campaigning for K Anil in a traditional procession

Berhampur, 7/5 (Abhijit Kar): Bharatiya Janata Party campaigned and begged votes for the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly of Berhampur Parliamentary Constituency in a huge patio in Ward No. 3. On Sunday evening, under the chairmanship of Ward No. 3 Corporator Sabita Sahu, in a traditional procession from Shankleswar temple at Raja Street, Rama Laxman Sita’s bearers, including Hanuman and Ganjam district’s traditional tigers, giant horses, tigers, bulls and dhooms, Shankarpur Street, Jena Street came out. Lok Sabha MP candidate Pradeep Panigrahi and Assembly MLA candidate K Anil Kumar toured all the areas of 3 wards including Gramdevati Street, Sandha Mohanty Street, Kalupatra Street, Aska Road, BariaBil Street, Balunkesbar Temple Road and campaigned for their votes. The traditional procession, lead by youth leader Chittaranjan Sahu, involved hundreds of youth students and women workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who extended a warm welcome to MLA candidate K Anil Kumar and urged every resident of the region to vote for the BJP. Similarly, in Mr. Sahu’s own Street, corporate Mrs. Sahu and candidate Anil, in an attractive and grand manner, showered flowers and asked them to vote for BJP after losing the corrupt government and join the development process in Berhampur city. Among others, hundreds of people from the areas of Sanjay Jena, Patita Pavan Gantayat, Kamal Panltea, Madan, Ravi, Mahendra, Savananda, Sushant participated in the procession and made the public relations march a success.
