Young leader Murali’ Mohan’s 44th Birthday Celebration
• Blood donation camp with eye, health check-ups and distribution of free medicines.
Berhampur, 20/1 (Abhijit Kar): President of Berhampur Cooperative Urban Bank Ltd, former corporator and District Youth BJD Vice President, at Ward No.15 Tulasi Nagar Main Road, Kalyan Mandap under Berhampur. Murali Mohan’s 44th birthday has been celebrated. Like every year, this year also on behalf of Friends Forever and Radha krishna Merchants Association, a lot of public welfare work has been done on the birthday of Murali Mohan, President of the Federation. In order to celebrate this day in a grand manner, More than 500 people were tested for blood pressure and diabetes, 126 people were given eye tests, 14 people were diagnosed with cataracts, 14 people were sent to the hospital for free treatment, and 11 people were given retina checkups and free medicine was distributed to the general public. District BJD President and State Planning Board Committee Member Ramesh Chandra Chow Patnaik, Hon’ble Berhampur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, District Planning Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, BJD State Secretary, Jiban Bindu District Coordinator and Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Chairman Subas Chandra Maharana were the guests in this program. Mayor Smt. Sanghamitra Dalai, District Vice President Bhimsen Dadai, senior lawyer Deepak Panda were prominently present. All the blood donors were felicitated by the honorable guests to encourage those who had done great things like donating blood on this occasion.
Among others, various institutions, organizations, social workers, NGOs and many directors of Urban Bank and many leaders of Biju Janata Dal, among others, joined and extended their greetings and congratulations. Among others Smt. R. Pawni wife of Murali Mohan and corporator of Ward No.15, mother Sabitri Devi, son Lucky, daughter Twinkle, R. Lalita, R Padma, R. Vimal, R. Chinmayi, Banshi, Pranavi, Honey, Mohit, Nikhil, Meenakshi, Manyashree were present in the family including Ravi Prasad, Kiran Kumar and many friends. On the occasion of this happy day, a midday meal was arranged for the well-wishers. Federation Vice President Srikant Panigarahi, Subash Chandra Patra, Secretary Manoj Sahu, Ramesh Chandra Nayak, Tirupati Subudhi, Manoj Patnaik, Sushil Senapati, Panchanan Raut, Abhinav Sundar Behera, Satya Narayan Patra managed the Programme, while many youths of the region participated in the event. Brahampur MKCG Medical Blood Bank in the blood donation camp. Led by Dr. P.K Rath, Prasannajit Panda, Suraj Gantayat, Pradeep Subudhi, Ashok Bajubandh, Sushant Panigahri, Dibakar Tripathi, and many students of DLMT contributed to the blood collection. The Federation informed that more than the estimated 401 blood was collected in the organized blood donation camp.
