Berhampur, 22/4 (Abhijit Kar): A press conference was held under the chairmanship of Deepak Patnaik, District Congress Committee (East) President and Berhampur Assembly MLA candidate, at the Ganjam District Congress Office at the Bapuji Ashram. AICC Spokesperson Prabhat Kumar, AICC Observer Ram Pratap Singh, Berhampur MP candidate Rashmi Ranjan Patnaik, State Media Coordinator Biren Dalei, State Youth General Secretary Gyan Ranjan Raut, Town President Atulya Padhi were prominently present in the event, who have a strong influence on both the state and central governments. In this context, AICC spokesperson Shri Kumar criticized the central government and said that the BJP government has oppressed the people of the country in the last 10 years after gaining 303 MPs in 2019, and mainly criticized the injustice done to the farmers.

However, the son of a minister in the BJP government took the lives of farmers, and talked about the many criminal activities and disorders in Manipur such as misbehaving of women. Similarly, he said that whoever pressures the Modi government to donate money, he gets the Business, but if he doesn’t give money, he said that the ED and CBI are getting the money. This Modi government is doing bad politics regarding caste and religion, so remove this Modi government from the root and request the people of the country and the state to do 400 par or tadi par of Modi this time. Similarly, MP candidate Mr. Patnaik said that the Congress government has decided to do many things for the people of the country, out of which they have promised 5 justice and 25 guarantees.

In addition, Ganjam district has been accused of lagging behind in the fields of education, health and employment. He alleged that 60 percent of schools do not have teachers. Despite the availability of sufficient water, land, forests and raw materials, the people here are going to foreign states for work. There are ample employment opportunities in the district but both the governments have failed to utilize them properly. By stopping the student parliament elections, the voice of the future generation has been suppressed. MLA candidate Deepak Patnaik said that the party will make the above issue the main issue of the election campaign. The media coordinator Tasat Subudhi conducted the conference, Pradeep Behera, a senior Congress leader who had left the Congress and joined BJD, returned to the Congress party today and welcomed him into the party.
