• 4 Persons arrested, 2 swords & Live bomb recovered

Berhampur, 18/3 (D.K.): SP Sarvana Vivek M informed a press conference at Brahmapur SP’s office on Monday afternoon. He Said On the 14.03.2024 at about 6.15 P.M. victims son reported that unknown persons attacked his father by throwing bomb inorder to kill him. Immediately he rushed to the spot and found his father injured, shifted his father Tukuna Bhuyan to MKCG Hospital in Ambulance for treatment. During course of investigation it is ascertained that due to previous enmity with Sudarsan Padhy and Suman Pattanaik,

both procured bombs from Dipak Sahu and Kalia Sahu on 14.03.24 for killing Tukuna Bhuyan. On 14.03.24 evening while Tukuna Bhuyan was present alone in his rented house accused persons Sudarsan Padhy, Suman Pattanaik, Kalia Sahu and Dipak Sahu armed with live bomb went near the house of Tukuna Bhuyan. Sudarsan Padhy entered the house of Tukuna Bhuyan and with an intention to kill him exploded one bomb at Tukuna Bhuyan there by causing injuries on his neck, chest and hand and fled away from the spot in a Hero Glamour Motor cycle bear regd. No. OD07 AS 6698. The accused persons were apprehended and the weapon of offence is seized with his Hero Glamour Motor cycle. One live bomb and Three mobile phones was recovered from the procession of the accused persons. The accused persons are forwarded to the Court U/s 120(B) /341/ 323/ 324/307/ 34 IPC/Sec-3 & 4 of E.S Act. R.W. Sec. 27 of Arms Act. Brahampur SP Sarbana Vivek M informed in this press conference that the further investigation of this incident is going on by the Big Bazaar Police.
