Two day’s technical education workshop “Sankalp” was inaugurated at NIST University
Berhampur, 21/3 (Abhijit Kar): NIST University had organised “SANKALP 2024” A Techno Management Symposium on their campus on March 21-22. As a national-level event, “SANKALP” aims to nurture technical expertise and skills among young individuals, providing a platform for showcasing their talents in various events such as Robotics, Web Designing, Quizzes, Coding, Paper Presentation, and more. The Symposium inaugural ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest, Shri Sashi Shekhar Mohanty, CEO & MD Essar Minmet Limited, Mumbai, Chief Speaker Mr. Rinkesh Vishnu Kurkure, Young Scientist awardee Govt. of India, CTO & Co-founder, Psaximo Aerospace private limited, Guest of Honour Dr. Pravat Kumar Parhi, Chairman ISTE Odisha section, Guest of Honour Mr. Anurag Agarwal, Founder, New Leaf Dynamic Technologies (P) LTD, Vice-Chancellor In-charge Dr. P. Rajesh Kumar, Prof Mitu Baral, ISTE Faculty Advisor, Sankalp Student President Mr. Aditya Kumar Sahu, Secretary Mr. B Sanjeev Reddy and Treasurer Ms.Richa.
The event was graced by President of the university Dr. Sukant K Mohapatra. The two-day event promises to be an enthralling techno-fiesta, giving students the opportunity to explore and conquer new horizons while redefining the meaning of success itself said by Founder Chairman Dr. Sukant K. Mahapatra. Mr. Rinkesh V. Kurkure emphasised on the importance of industry collaborations to empower students on the latest technologies and future-proof their career by learning new skills. Vice-Chancellor In-charge Dr. P. Rajesh Kumar said that these kinds of symposium provide a chance to the students to showcase their latent abilities and ingenuity. Prof. Mitu Baral, ISTE Faculty Advisor advised students to be multi-skilled and focus on multi-disciplinary projects and elaborated the various events which is going to held in these two days. Sankalp Student President Mr. Aditya Kumar Sahu, Secretary Mr. B Sanjeev Reddy and Ms.Richa also elaborated about these two-day events.
This symposium will also feature talks by industry experts, who will share their experiences and provide valuable insights into the latest technologies and trends in the industry, along with cultural events like Mr and Miss Sankalp, DJ and Band. On the next day Bollywood celebrity singer Laqshay Kapoor and DJ Faizan Khan will also come to this event. The event was coordinated by Miss. Kshirabdhi Tanaya Nayak. Admin Head Er. Sayaed Suleman Ali, Registrar in-Charge Dr Bishnukar Nayak, Dr. Preeti Ranjan Sahu, Pitambar Sahu, Purnendu Mishra, Chinni Naresh, Damburu Shetty were also coordinated in the event.
