Launch of “Jana Samparka Padajatra” in Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal

Berhampur, 2/10 (Abhijit Kar): On the orders of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the “Jana Samparka Padajatra” of Berhampur BJD has been launched. Brahmapur MLA and Chairman of the District Planning Board Committee Bikram Kumar Panda lead the Padajatra by placing wreaths at the statue of Gandhiji at the local Gandhi Park. The walk starts from Biju Patnaik Park, amidst a huge mass of people, circling the major areas of the city like Hanuman Bazar Street, Sana Bazar Street, Big Bazar Street, Khapsa Sahi, Budhi Thakurani Temple, Municipal square, Gandhi Park, Girija square, Annapurna Market. the old busand, ended up being the Brahmapur Stadium, Gandhi nagar, near the statue of Gandhi.

During this march, the public was informed about the various welfare schemes of the state government and called to make all the schemes of the government accessible to everyone.
