4 Corporator’s joined the BJD party, after ignoring the BJP party

Bhubaneswar/Brahmpur, 26/2 (Abhijit Kar): 4′ BJP Corporator’s of Brahmapur Municipal Corporation joined the BJD on Monday afternoon at “Shankh Bhawan” in Bhubaneswar. In the presence of Rajya Sabha MP and Berhampur Lok Sabha Constituency Observer Manas Mangaraj, MP Dr. Sasmit Patra, former MLA com. Ganjam District President Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik, Berhampur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, Mr. Mangaraj and Dr. Patra welcomed the party by giving party greetings to 4′ BJP corporators. Mr. Mangaraj and Dr. Patra said that the party organization will be further strengthened, especially in Berhampur Municipal Corporation and Ganjam District, due to the joining of BJP corporators.

On this occasion, 4 corporators of BJP involved in the contest said in their response that for many years we worked hard day and night for the BJP party, but the party for which we worked so hard ignored us. The BJP has embraced anti-people BJP leader, Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi, who cheated poor young men and women in the name of jobs. We protested against this and decided to leave the BJP. Inspired by the people-oriented activities, ideals and formation of new Odisha of Hon’ble Chief Minister and BJD supremo Mr. Naveen Patnaik, I joined BJD today. He thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Party Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das, MP Manas Mangaraj and all the leaders for accepting us in the party.

However, in this combination, Mrs. CH. Ranjita Behera Corporator of Ward No.20, D.Karunakar Corporator of Ward No.21, Pradeep Kumar Satapathy Corporator of Ward No.22 and Nilakanth Sahu Corporator of Ward No.27 have participated in the major contest. Among others, independent corporator Prashant Kumar Patnaik and Narsingh Sethi, former corporator and current Urban Bank President R Murali Mohan, among others, were prominently present in the event. In the end, Biju Janata Dal spokesperson Priyobrat Majhi expressed his gratitude in a press release.
