Social worker Sweety Sahu’s service to the old age ashram on the holy day

Brahampur, 24/10 (Abhijit Kar): Gopalpur is under notified area council Mrs. Sweeti Sahu, social activist and president of All Odisha Transgender Federation, Berhampur, distributed ration materials, clothes and other daily necessities to Vishwa Niketan Old Age Ashram at Ramachandrapur on Tuesday afternoon. In this regard, Mrs. Sahu said, “This service has been performed on the occasion of the holy Vijaya Dasami and Jagat Janani Maa Durga Puja.” Now a days, after their children grow up, mothers who have given birth to their parents throw them out of the house with various quarrels, and leave them in the ashram on the pretext of not being able to bear the responsibility. In order to convey a precious message to them, today, on this holy day, holy work has been done in order. On this occasion, Sushant Kumar Sabat, the Chief Manager of the Ashram and the Great Federation, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Sweety. Mrs. Sahu along with her mother and some members of the federation were present in this program.
