Preparatory meeting to celebrate National Press Day

Berhampur, 13/11 (Abhijit Kar): A preparatory meeting was held today to celebrate the “National Press Day” on the 16th at the conference room of the local Press Club Berhampur. The meeting chaired by journalist Sudeep Sahu was attended by journalists Bishwanath Patnaik, Narayan Mahankund, Ashok Brahma, Manoj Kant Das, Shaktidhar Rajguru, Sameer Acharya, Bighneswar Sahu, Prashant Das, Prahallad Sahu, Abhijit Kar and how the “National Press Day” will be organized. The opinions of all the journalist friends present were accepted. On the 16th, by consensus of the journalists present, a procession will start from the Press Club premises at 8 am, and will finish at the town hall by paying floral tributes to the nearby statues. Later it was decided that all the various programs would be held on that day. In this, many journalists expressed their different opinions, which can further double the celebration of this “National Press Day”. In this regard, the Working President Mr. Patnaik informed that a discussion on “National Press Day” will be held and two people who won gold medals in the university in the field of journalism will be promoted as young talent and a cultural program will be held in the evening. Journalist Asit Panda, Swadhin Sahu, Nilanchal Sahu, Mrutyunjay Sahu, BK Bisharad, Rupak Sahu, Narsingh Dakua, Rajesh Sahu, Simanchal Sahu, among others, many journalists and media representatives from Brahmapur city participated in this meeting.
