Awareness program for special revision of voter list

Berhampur, 28/10 (Abhijit Kar): A walkathon and path festival program has been organized on Saturday to create awareness for the short special revision program of voter list 2024 by the sub-district administration. Shri Ashutosh Kulkarni, sub District Collector of Brahampur inaugurated the walkathon and path festival by showing the green flag. The procession started from the Sub – District Collector’s office of Berhampur and reached near the Golden Jubilee Town Hall. It included students of SBR College and Mahamayee College, BLO, Supervisor, and alumni of Berhampur Skating Academy. SDM Mr. Kulkarni is said that the students participating in the said walkthon and path festival, citizens who are 18 years old can apply through the local BLO, Community Development Officer, SDM office or online. Along with this, the students raised slogans in the campaign through the awareness message to the citizens about correction of voter list, new registration, deletion of names of dead persons from the list, multiple names registered in one place and deletion in another. In this program, Assistant Collectors of the Sub-District Collector’s office Shubhashree Mishra and Ashutosh Patnaik, many staff and faculty members of the colleges were prominently present.
