Haste preparatory meeting at SDM office to celebrate the Republic Day

Berhampur, 8/1 (Abhijit Kar): A preparatory meeting was held on Monday with all departmental officers from the information and public relations department to celebrate Republic Day this year in the conference hall of the local Berhampur Sub-District Collector’s office. In this meeting held under the chairmanship of the Additional Sub-District Collector, Dr. Gururavmay Pradhan, in the presence of Deputy Collector Kasturi Swain and various department officials, it was discussed that on the next Republic Day at 4:30 am, Ramadhun will be served in Berhampur city by Sub-District Information and Public Relations Department, all government and In private institutions, the flag will be hoisted at 7 am, and at 8.30 am, the national flag will be formally hoisted by the chief guest at the Khalikot unitary University Stadium. For the parade practice, it is scheduled to be practiced on the 22nd and 23rd afternoon at 3 o’clock and the 24th at 8 o’clock in the morning. On 12th, 13th and 14th at 8 o’clock in the morning, drawing, elocution and composition competition will be held at Shaheed Laxman Naik High School Kortpeta. Sub-division Information and Public Relations Officer Rashmirani Nimaka conducted the meeting while Information and Public Relations Officers Lokanath Satapathi, Rabindra Sahu and Mamata Mohanty assisted in the meeting. The media and journalists of Berhampur city were not invited for the preparatory discussion in this meeting organized by the order of the Deputy District Collector. The departmental officer said, “The meeting was held in a hurry when the Deputy District Collector of Brahampur was absent from Brahampur.” However, the reason and purpose of this hasty meeting is not yet clear.
