Peek inside Ranbir Kapoor’s sprawling Mumbai home with Alia Bhatt, Raha: Vastu

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot last year, and the young couple have been doing the rounds of the site of their upcoming home for quite a long time. The under construction Krishna Raj bungalow will be the new home for Alia, Ranbir, and Raha, once construction is complete.

However, before Ranbir and Alia tied the knot, the Animal actor used to stay by himself in his sprawling 2,460 square feet apartment in Bandra’s Vastu Apartments, although Alia did buy herself a property there to be close to her then boyfriend Ranbir.

On Ranbir Kapoor’s 41st birthday, let’s celebrate by taking a look inside his stunning Bandra apartment, that he shares with wife Alia and daughter Raha:

Ranbir’s Vastu house

Although Ranbir shares the apartment with Alia and Raha now, he bought it in 2016 for himself for a reported Rs 35 crore.  While the house has gone a total makeover now, Ranbir had tasked Shah Rukh Khan’s designer wife Gauri Khan to do up his house.

However, the latest decor has been done by Rupin Suchak of Goizargi, he also did up Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions office.

The interior designers shared images of the house to their social media feed, showcasing how beautifully they utilised natural light, calming wall colours and varieties of wood to give the space an open and airy feel, without losing it’s touch of elegance and opulence. Take the couple’s bedroom for one, the use of light wood and rattan given the white and dusty blue room a quaint, cottage core vibe.

Whites, browns and books

The space is done up mostly in different shades of brown, and white, with different textures of wood creating interesting patterns with each other. The furnishings also complement the overall earthy theme of the house, and natural sunlight flows freely through the whole house.
