“Makar Mohotsav” will be celebrated at Gopalpur Beach Today

Berhampur, 14/1 (Abhijit Kar): Holy Makar Sankranti “Makar Mahotsav” will be organized at Gopalpur Beach under the direct supervision of Berhampur Honorable MLA and District Planning Committee Bikram Kumar Panda. Honorable Minister Usha Devi along with Rajya Sabha MP Manas Kumar Mangraj, Rajya Planning Board Member Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik and all the MP’s and MLA’s of Ganjam District and Berhampur also joining in the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and all the elected representatives of Gopalpur Constituency were present on this occasion. And all district level dignitaries will be present. A colorful and cultural program will be presented on the same evening, with the main entertainment program by Murali Mohan and Bassi, members of Hyderabad’s famous Jarbardast group. Apart from this, there is also a program of performing in their own style by Odiana singer Navia Jaiati and eminent Unmoshika Shweta. Honorable MLA Shri Panda has requested all the general public of the district to participate in this celebration and enjoy the joy of the holy Makar festival.
