After 60 years later two students participated in the national level wrestling competition 

Berhampur, 28/9 (Abhijit Kar) : Badal Kumar Padhi, the youngest son of late Nirakar Padhi and Sasmita Kumari Padhi of Yogiapalli Village, Kukudakhandi Block, Ganjam district and nephew of journalist Manoj Kumar Panda, is a 10th standard student of Nimkhandi School Sri krishna Sahu High School and 8th standard student of Modern Oxford Public School. Student Radhe Shyam Patra, two children from this Ganjam district left for Sansabad city of Vidisha District in central province on Thursday to participate in the national level wrestling competition. It is reported that they will first go to Puri by train and then from Puri to Madhya Pradesh by train. While the training of wrestlers for competitive wrestling was stopped, after almost 60 years young boys have been trained and selected to play this sport at the national level.

While the state government is looking at all kinds of sports, this sport in Ganjam district is not looking at wrestling. is disappearing He appealed to the government to keep this sport of wrestling and wrestling alive in Ganjam District. Keeping this in mind, the coaches of Killing Fight School at Lanjipalli Chandi Temple, Sifu and N. Balakrishna Reddy, have made a different effort to take the sport forward.  Training students l These two students were training in this school to play at the national level l Due to the efforts of the coach, two students of King Fight School have been selected for national level wrestling.

Rashmita Kumari Nayak, the physical trainer of Nimkhandi School encouraged these two children to play wrestling. Today, Brahampur Lanjipalli Senior Citizen Forum gave advice to 2 national wrestlers to improve and play well on behalf of Haas Yoga and Exercise Center. Senior civic forum Prof. Vaskar Padhi among others were present at the consecration ceremony. Among others, Laddu Kishore Patra, social worker Niranjan Panigarahi, Amuj Sahu were prominently present while Nimkhandi School’s Krishna Sahu High School Principal Nikunj Kumar Pradhan also contributed.
