Advocate Deepak Patnaik and Rabindra Sharma will carry the in charge of Ganjam District Congress

Berhampur, 12/2 (Abhijit Kar): In view of the 2024 general elections, Ganjam District Congress Committee President has been changed. However, while earlier Sankhemundi Constituency MLA Ramesh Chandra Jena had taken over as District Congress Committee President, he had to face a lot of difficulties to improve the organization in Berhampur, as the District Congress office was located in Berhampur, he could not come regularly. Even so, he was conducting party programs in his constituency and in the suburbs of the city, which was difficult for the party to strengthen in Berhampur. Now Mr. Jena has been given the responsibility of State Congress Vice President. He has expressed the opinion that he will be able to organize the Ganjam district in a special way and improve the whole state by being in this position. It is worth mentioning that a notification has been published by the State Congress Committee on Sunday, in which the names of the new presidents of Ganjam District Congress have been announced.

However, Ganjam district has been divided into two organizational districts and Ganjam East district has Chikiti, Berhampur, Gopalpur, Chhatrapur and Digapahandi constituencies, while west has Asika, Sankhemundi, Polosara, Sorda, Bhanjanagar, Khallikot, Kabisurya Nagar, Hinjili constituencies. Senior lawyer Deepak Patnaik in East Ganjam and senior lawyer Rabindra Sharma in West Ganjam have been given the responsibility of district president. In this regard, lawyer Mr. Patnaik expressed his gratitude to the President of the Congress Committee of the Province, Sharma said, “The party trusted him and gave him responsibility as District Vice President, PCC member and President of Asika Central Cooperative Bank.” Mr. Sharma opined that Present will work for the people by activating the party organization of the Congress in Ganjam district. However, the party workers thanked the state president for giving the responsibility of Congress district president to the two prominent leaders of Ganjam district and the allies of their respective regions congratulated Deepak Patnaik and Rabindra Sharma.
