Another Low Pressure Likely Next Week; Thunderstorm Alert For These Odisha Dists Today

More rains are on the cards in Odisha as a fresh low pressure is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal next week. According to Bhubaneswar MeT, A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Andaman sea and neighbourhood on 29th September. Under its influence a low pressure Area is likely to form over north Andaman sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 24 hours. The system is likely to intensify and move to westnorthwestwards. weathermen have issued a warning (yellow) for thunderstorm and heavy rainfall for several districts for three days starting today.

As many as 20 districts may experience thunderstorm today. According to Regional Meteorological Centre of IMD, Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Boudh and Kandhamal today. Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur today.

Similarly, Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada tomorrow (September 24). Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati on September 25.
