Closing ceremony of 4th State level Open Taekwondo Competition

Berhampur, 24/12 (Abhijit Kar): The 4th State Open Taekwondo two-day competition has closed on Sunday at Sanskuti Bhawan in Hilpatna. corporator Sanjit Panigrahi, Malaya Bisoyi and Major Arun Chouhan participated in the first phase of the medal distribution ceremony as guests and distributed the medals. Similarly, the chief guests at the main inauguration ceremony held in the evening were Berhampur MLA and District Planning Board Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, Berhampur Mayor Sanghamitra Dalai, Corporator R. Pawani, Urban Bank President R. Murali Mohan, Deputy Mayor E. Vivek Reddy, Odisha Taekwondo Association President Krishnachandra Das, OTA Technical Director Jayakrishna Parida, Tab Fest Chairman Karthik Chandra Mohapatra were present. More than 400 boys and girls from 12 districts of Odisha, namely Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kanjhar, Jajpur, Cuttack district and Bhubaneswar participated in the two-day competition, as well as from the state and outside the state. About 20 experienced referees assisted in conducting the competition. In this competition, Kalahandi district has won the team champion position, while Gajapati district has become the team runner-up. On this occasion, the guests were present and distributed medals to the winning teams of the district. Amulya Kumar Panigarahi, Berhampur Taekwondo Association President Jitendra Kumar Muni, Secretary Satya Narayan Tripathi and joit secretary Lingaraj Sahu contributed to the program.
