Box Office Collection September 27 India: Jawan, Gadar 2, Sukhee, more
Films from different genres have been ruling the box office in India and overseas, with some refusing to slow down despite having released several weeks ago Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Sunny Deol-starrer Gadar 2, as well as other releases like The Nun 2, The Great Indian Family, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, Sukhee, Mark Anthony, and others.
Here are the box office numbers for September 27 in India, and overseas, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Jawan box office collection
Atlee’s Jawan earned Rs 5.15 crore on its 21st day. Its total box office collection worldwide currently stands at Rs 1022 crore, while its gross earnings in India have reached Rs 686.15 crore, of which Rs 576.38 crore are its nett earnings.
The film which released on September 7 in theatres all around also starred Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and others.
Gadar 2 collection worldwide
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 performed tremendously well at the box office since it was released on August 11. It has been in cinema for 48 days and is still going strong at the box office. The Anil Sharma directorial, which was released, earned Rs 0.30 crore on Day 48, taking its total to Rs 524.30 crore.
Sukhee box office collection
Shilpa Shetty Kundra starrer Sukhee, which marks the actress’s comeback to Bollywood as a lead, had been having tough luck at the box office and may earn only Rs 0.19 crore on its sixth day. It total collection currently stands at Rs 1.82 crore.
The film, which also stars Chaitannya Choudhry, Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, and Kiran Kumar, released on September 22, 2023.
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty box office collection
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty may secure Rs 0.54 crore at the box office in India on day 20, across all languages. The Mahesh Babu P directorial, starring Anushka Shetty, Naveen Polishetty, Jayasudha, and Murali Sharma, has total earnings of Rs 27.55 crore.
The Great Indian Family box office collection
Vicky Kaushal starrer The Great Indian Family, which marks former Miss India Manushi Chillar’s Bollywood debut started slow at the box office when it was released on September 22, 2023. The film earned Rs 0.85 crore on its fifth day, taking its total earnings to Rs 6.70 crore. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial, produced by Yash Raj Films, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, and Alka Amin in key roles.
Mark Anthony box office collection
Adhik Ravichandran’s Mark Antony stars Vishal Krishna, S. J. Suryah, Sunil Varma, K. Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, and MG Abhinaya in key roles. The Kannada cinema film was released on September 15 and has since earned Rs 92 crore worldwide, while its gross earnings in India presently are Rs 74.17 crore, the nett being Rs 66.48 crore.
The Nun 2 box office collection
Michael Chaves’ horror thriller The Nun 2, starring Taissa Farmiga, Katelyn Rose Downey, Bonnie Aarons, Storm Reid, Jonas Bloquet, and Anna Popplewell, released in India on September 7 with Jawan. It has since raked in Rs 48.5 crore gross in India (Rs 42.62). The film’s worldwide box office collection is Rs 1,725 crore.
