A workshop on cleanliness with elected public representatives

Berhampur, 8/11 (Abhijit Kar): A workshop has been organized by the Berhampur Municipal Corporation on “urban cleanliness and sanitation system related approach and dignity plan” to train all the elected public representatives on cleanliness. Berhampur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, State Planning Board Member Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik, Berhampur MLA com District Planning Board chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, Corporation Mayor Sanghamitra Dalei, Deputy Mayor, BeMC Additional Commissioner Ramesh Hasda were the guests in the event held at the local Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, Deputy Commissioner Asirbad Parida was the mainly in Present. In this all the corporators need to special attention to the cleanliness of their respective areas, and Mayor Smt. Dalei has called on everyone to attention the cleanliness of each ward. A part from this, he said that organic fertilizer can also be prepared through the management of organic matter. On this occasion, all the corporators visited the Environmental Management Plant at Meeda to give their informed opinion and see the exposure first hand. While the elected corporators of all the wards of BeMC were present in the programme, officials of the sanitation department of the corporation and exporters conducted the programme.
