7th State level and 33rd South Odisha Drama Festival has been closed

Berhampur, 9/1 (Abhijit Kar): The 7th state Level and 33rd South Odisha drama festival, which started on the 6th of has been launched on Tuesday on behalf of the Ganjam District Stage Artists Conference at the Biju Patnaik Sanskrit Bhawan in Hilpatna, in collaboration with the Odisha Government Department of Odisha Language, Literature and Culture. In the last evening of the organized festival, while the president of the institute, K. Balaram Das, presided over the opening evening, retired professor of Brahmapur University, Dr. E Raja Rao was the chief guest, theater researcher Dr. as the chief speaker. Bayamanu Churchi, former corporator Jagannath Sabat, co-organizer Surendra Jena, Narayan Mahankud, general secretary of Gauri Bisoy Institute Ramesh Maharana, host Bhavani Shankar Mishra, acting president Bichchitra Nand Beberta, vice president Kiran Bala Mishra were present on the main stage as the guest of honor. On the opening day of the festival, the drama ” Sathik Bichara ” written and directed by Samantha Nataraj Dr Tirupati Sahu, sponsored by the organizer Ganjam District Stage Artists Conference Institute and played by Sural Sri Narasingh Natya Sansad Artist captivated the audience.

While Ramesh Chandra directed the music, Dr.Tirupathi Sahu, Yudhisthira Bhanj Samantha, Subash Sahu, Pradeep Sahu, Nalini Kant Gouda, Gangadhar Panigarahi, Chandamama and Rajni acted as the main actors in the play. In the last evening, senior theater Director N. Ram babu, Sarah Lauren Mishra and Sukanti Patra were promoted. Most of the esteemed members of the institute were present along with the welcome committee chief Raj Gopal Padhi, Kanhu Choudhury, Loknath Kanun Go, Satish Raul, Krishna Chandra Sethi, Prashant Maharana, Naveen Hota among others. Amidst the colorful program awards were distributed by the guests, a panel discussion on “How to make a successful play” was held on the last day of the drama festival. Samanchal Behera welcomed and introduced the guests while Kailas Panigrahi gave vote of thanks.
