Public awareness program for plastic free environment at City College

Berhampur, 23/11 (Abhijit Kar): A public awareness program with reference to plastic free environment including social service program related to integrated youth development program was launched at the local Berhampur City College on Thursday. Dr. Anita Kumari Panda, Principal of the College, Deputy Mayor of Berhampur Municipality, E. Vivek Reddy joined the Chief Guest and Senior Journalist Shaktidhar Rajguru as the Guest of Honor inaugurated the program. The students of +2 and +3 of City College participated in this program. A rally was held to sensitize the villagers of the local Ambapua village and the general public of Krishna Bihar about plastic free environment. Dr. Ajay Kumar Kumar Penthoi, Head of Education Department of College and Program Officer of I.Y.D.P conducted the program while Dr. Sasmita Kumari Patnaik, Faculty of Odisha Department of College, Manini Pradhan, Commerce Department Lecturer Lt. Meghnad Pradhan, Mathematics Department conducted the program. Lecturer Pradeep Das, Chemistry Department Lecturer Sudam Charan Bishoyi Major were the coordinators of the program. The program was attended by all the faculty, faculty and staff members of the College and made the program a success.
