Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal’s Second Phase of “Jana Samparka Padajatra” and thanksed Meeting

Berhampur, 9/10 (Abhijit Kar): On Monday evening, on behalf of Berhampur Mahanagara Biju Janata Dal, the second phase of “Jana Samparka Padajatra” was held under the leadership of Berhampur MLA. On this occasion, a procession came out from the Buddha statue in front of the Gosainuaga police station. The march included many senior party leaders, workers, supporters and hundreds of Biju lovers and informed the common people about the Chief Minister’s public welfare scheme and ended at Bijipur Square in front of the church. A public meeting and a thanks giving meeting for the Chief Minister was held there after garlanding the statue of Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das in the street. However, for arranging 24 hour drinking water supply in Berhampur city, the Chief Minister was thanked on behalf of the Mahanagara Biju Janata Dal.

Brahmapur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, MLA and District Planning Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, District Women President and Mayor Sanghamitra Dalei, Deputy Mayor E.Vivek Reddy, State Secretary and District Coordinator and Cashew Corporation Chairman Subash Chandra Maharna, State Secretary M Sujata Patra, District Vice President Bhagwan Ganthayat, Subhrendu Swain, District Secretary Munna Padhi, Adviser Anil Sahu and many senior leaders informed the residents of the area about the development of sports ground, pond beautification, school conversion and other development initiatives of Berhampur city. Among others, many youth, student and women leaders and workers were present including Women BJD Zone President Mamata Bisoyi, Student President Jyoti Ranjan Sahu, Youth Leader A Santosh Patra, Youth President Ajit Kumar Panda, Student President Sovan Nayak, Girija Satapathi. Mahanagar President Bijay Chandra Samal presided over the meeting, while Mahanagar Youth President Ajit Panda gave vote of thanks at the end of the meeting.
