Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates are Grand welcomed by Brahampur BJD

Berhampur, 7/4 (Abhijit Kar): Two senior leaders who were recently nominated as candidates for the Berhampur Lok Sabha and Assembly seats on behalf of the District and Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal were given a grand welcome by the party workers. On Sunday afternoon, party MP candidate Bhrigu Baxipatra and district president and MLA candidate Darmesh Chandra ChyauPatnaik took a huge motorcycle procession from near the local engineering school to Maa Budhi Thakurani’s temple through the main places of the city such as Kampalli, Khalikot College, Gandhi Nagar.  A procession came out in front of the party Lok Sabha office to wish the mother’s blessings.

 On this occasion, the party inaugurated an office for Lok Sabha candidates in the local Bengali Street. The procession was attended by Brahmapur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, Mayor Sanghmitra Dalai, Bhimsen Dalai, Manoj Mahapatro, Muna Padhi, Deputy Mayor E Vivek Reddy, Urban Bank President R Murali Mohan, Town President Bijay Samal, Zone President Mamata Bisoyi, M Sujata Patra, P. Asha Rani, Youth President Ajit Panda, Zone Student President Jyoti Ranjan Sahu, Student President Shovan Nayak, all the corporators and party leaders of the metropolis were involved in the procession.
